Games

Noah and the ark

Make a big ark out of poster board and put it on the wall. Then all around the room tape up pictures of animals, the children go out one at a time to find a pair of animals to bring back and put on the ark.

Catch the verse game

Having all children sit in a circle, using a child's play ball, have the children pass the ball clockwise to the next child. As each child passes the ball they say one word of the memory verse. Continue passing the ball until the children have memorized the verse. Another version would be to roll the ball across the circle to another child.

Pop the verse

Get loads of balloons and write each word of the verse on each one then go through it a few times starting to pop some of the balloons

Who are you?

Each player has the name of a person in the Bible pinned on their back. No one is to know who they are. All of the players mingle together and ask question of each other until they figure out who they are. The game can also be played with the books of the Bible and several other ways
